Bot's tasks for which permission is being sought:
- Create {{Creator}} templates based on Category:Creator templates to be created by a bot.
- Create {{Creator}} templates based on Category:Creator template possible, where the name and birth year and death year exactly match an entry on Wikidata.
- In both cases, place the {{Creator}} template on the category page. Also add applicable categories to the category page like Category:NNNN births, Category:NNNN deaths, Category:Deceased persons by name, Category:Men by name, Category:Women by name, Category:People by name, and other info like interwiki links from Wikidata.
- Eventually, other maintenance on Creator templates with Wikidata link, like updating authority control data.

Discussion
See bot contributions for test run. BMacZero (talk) 19:05, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Why data is copied from Wikidata instead of fetching? --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:30, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- If I understood correctly, you're referring to the the ability to reference Wikidata like the Authority Control template on English Wikipedia? Apparently we don't have support for that on Commons ([1], [2]). I don't know if it's better for us to wait for that to be implemented (it's been an idea for a few years, it seems), or to proceed without it. Opinions on that would be helpful. - I'd prefer to directly fetch from wikidata instead of creating more redundant copies. If that is currently not supported, it should be tried to push that first. --Krd 06:25, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- In that case, I'd like to modify this request to only execute the maintenance tasks that would survive that feature:

- Placing the categories such as Category:Men by name on existing person categories.
- Consolidating Authority Control between existing categories and Wikidata and any existing {{Creator}} template.
- Placing {{Creator}} templates on pages with {{Creator possible}} where the {{Creator}} template already exists).

- Please make new test run. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:10, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
- Has an additional test run been made? If yes, please do again, preferably with a few edits of any kind. --Krd 06:50, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, I just got around to doing the test today. See last ~25 edits on bot account. BMacZero (talk) 06:12, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
- Looks OK for me. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:21, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

I'm closing this as approved, however I suggest to start slowly just in case there are issues not discovered yet. --Krd 17:33, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
