Discussion

Can't CommonsDelinker or an existing bot do this easily enough?  — Mike.lifeguard 20:52, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You mean SieBot. Poor old bot, has to share a command page bearing only Delinker's name. Sure he could it but one little catch with that is you have to be an admin to use it. Personally I would have no issue with this running without a flag. Manually assisted at 3-4 edits a minute? That's less than what I do with tab-browsing and HotCat. Given the narrow scope, it'll probably take less time than this request. ;) Rocket000 (talk) 05:20, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that I have seen category rename or delinker requests from this user, but considering his level of activity, I would suggest to use the CommonsDelinker to start with. --Foroa (talk) 05:36, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Allright. I cannot use CommonsDelinker, since I am not a sysop. I will use RussBot, although it takes six days to perform the actual move.—Andrei S. Talk 13:30, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No privileges required to enter requests on User talk:CommonsDelinker/commands. --Foroa (talk) 21:55, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I'll use that.—Andrei S. Talk 21:42, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, this can be closed then. Thanks for putting the bot up for discussion. --MichaelMaggs (talk) 06:04, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
