Discussion

I can see no problem with the bot, it seems mnot to have a malfunction and Abigor is a quite trusted user. I  Support to flag it. abf «Cabale?! Quelle Caballe?» 13:52, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What about categories move discussions? Was question of "in/of" discussed before move? --EugeneZelenko (talk) 15:42, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I could not find the discussion at the time I started the bot, I did notice it after I did some checks but still can't find a real descission. I made some agreements with co-worker Foroa here, The most things I will move are category with faults in there name or things that is just logical to move. Other category will go past COM:CFD. Is there a problem if I will start the bot again? Or do I have to wait until I have a flag? The user-config.py says I will do 1 edit per minute so I will not flood the recent changes. You could use User:CommonsDelinker/commands until receiving bot flag.
As for me question of using "in/of" is not so clear so will be good idea to discuss it before moving categories.

I will do so the next time. It wasn't the best action without a discussion. Abigor talk 17:37, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

About the image moving, how are images checked (for correct source and license information) before doing the move? Patrícia msg 20:56, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Check the license en source myself before moving the images, therefor I will only move images from project where I can read and understand the language. I know COM:L enough to make sure I don't move fair use images nor images without a correct source or license information

Another question, this should be made upon upload, the license part that is... has this been corrected? Patrícia msg 21:00, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

After uploading user Multichil contacted me and informed me some things I can do next time so the bot change the license part while moving. One of the things is placing self| before the license ({{self|GFDL}} as example ). But to answer the quistion all licensing has been corrected. Abigor talk 21:33, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I see no objections as long as you stick to User:Multichill/Moving to Commons when transfering images :-) Multichill (talk) 23:43, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Is it okay for me to do a new test run? Abigor talk 16:46, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think test run is OK. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 16:03, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
✓ Done Looks all OK to me. --MichaelMaggs (talk) 17:46, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
