Welcome to the Bophana Center GLAM project!

Introduction

Bophana Center is an audiovisual center based in Phnom Penh. Between 2021 and 2022, they worked with UNESCO Bangkok to train indigenous youth in Ratanakiri province of Cambodia to create audio-visual archives in their languages, which are now available on Wikimedia Commons, in the category Bophana-UNESCO Indigenous Youth Collection.

In FY 2022-23, Bophana Center and WMF are continuing this collaboration. More details on Outreach Dashboard. Contributions occur in several projects like Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. All are welcome to get to know and contribute to the dissemination of contents!

This GLAM is associated with a partnership between UNESCO Bangkok, Wikimedia Foundation and Bophana Center.
