Commons:Batch uploading/Dermnet

Dermnet

We recently received permission to use all the images at dermnet on the commons. An OTRS ticket number has been assigned (#4599300), and template created for use with all these photos. so we need someone who can set up an automatic way to transfer the >23000 images from dermnet into Category:Cutaneous conditions? • @Madhero88, perhaps you could create a Commons:Dermnet, similar to Commons:AntWeb or Commons:Tropenmuseum, and then work to improve our existing template? Also, maybe you could contact Dr. Habif and see if he would allow us to use the high resolution photos. • here is a trial version of Commons:Dermnet, but still in my user space, feel free to edit that. for the sample on the left we can use either 1 or 2, or I can create other different possibilities. and about the higher resolution, I dont think the author would accept, since he sells higher resolution images on the site, and he only agreed to release images at this quality MaenK.A._Talk 16:20, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

• Please do not do this. We only have OTRS permission for 19 images. Owner of the website in question doesn't own any of the images. NO need for batch upload because we don't have permission. -Andrew c (talk) 20:17, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
