Proposal to move Category:Zoological illustrations of tigers to Category:Illustrations of tigers

I disagree with this proposal. By specifying "Zoological" we are differentiating these academic drawings from cartoon drawings of tigers and the like. Perhaps instead, we should move Category:Drawings of tigers to Category:Illustrations of tigers and make this a subcategory of Category:Illustrations of tigers. It should also be noted that similar categories exist such as Category:Zoological illustrations of spiders. Kaldari (talk) 23:39, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

What you propose ("Illustrations of tigers") seems good to me. As regards the spiders case, the usualy format sems to be "Illustrations of..." (see Category:Illustrations. I note that there is no 100% firm consensus now, but it apparently is best to lump all drawings, paintings etc together and differentiate them with subcategories just like you say.
