Barbara Fischer[edit]

Hello Andy,

Your idea is very charming and I would like to support it. I wonder if there is a chance to show an example. Like Blixa Bargeld is a person I might be able to get a clip, but he probably won't do it in poor quality being a musician. I assume that the text You propose for the audio file is a mere suggestion, and the person is free to say what she likes. This might cause problems, such as violation of NPOV, saying like "I love Obama" or "I hate ...", or they will say "please come to my show on Friday in New York". This might not be considered harmful for our purpose but still it may cause wrinkled foreheads. Never the less I love to talk to more people about it because I do believe the idea will improve the attractiveness of Wikipedia. --Barbara Fischer (WMDE) (talk) 02:39, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Barbara, Thanks for your support. Do you think you could translate the page into German, please? If people say something inappropriate, we simply won't use the file; or we can edit it out. We do say "No advertising, pitching for work, advocacy or politics". I'm not sure what you mean by "show an example" - show it where? It would be great of you could get Blixa to record his voice - in German, English or any other language. And anyone else with a Wikipedia biography!
