I propose that we start splitting this category (and similar categories) into subcategories for every month, because it is huge at the moment. On the Swedish Wikipedia it is used a lot (see sv:Kategori:Bildärenden 2005-12) and it has a lot of advantages. With this system you can easily see if an image hasn't got a tag for months etcetera. I'll give it a try now. Väsk 15:46, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
On the English Wikipedia, there was a similar attempt; see w:Category:Images with unknown source by tag date. Your idea seems pretty good. The only problem I see is that someone can move a tagged image to the current month by doing a "null edit", which doesn't show up in the history. Anyway, you might want to change Template:No source, too. User:dbenbenn 22:00, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
After using this system on Swedish Wikipedia for over a year, I can't see that problem occuring very much. And if someone would go through images making "null edits" it isn't a big problem. I'll change Template: No source, and possibly others later. Väsk 20:29, 3 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it's sufficient to just mark the month in which the image is tagged, so I've gone ahead and copied Template:No source from the English wikipedia to Template:No source since. This template gives the date on which the tag was placed on the page, so that it is easy for administrators to know which images can be deleted. I propose that this template be eventually converted to that one, but comments are welcome on that template's talk page. --Spangineeren es (háblame) 23:32, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
