I think Category:Ultrasound should remain and Category:Medical Ultrasound should be merged into the former. Does anyone object? Dar-Ape 21:05, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. Ultrasound is a physical phenomenon, and this a different thing to visualisation of ultrasound-created informations in medicine. What about technical applications and basic physical facts? IMHO it would be better to fuse them in another lemma like Sonography (or the existent Category:Medical Ultrasound), and this could be a Subcategory of Category:Ultrasound. I like the idea of Category:Medical Ultrasound being a subcategory of Category:Ultrasound, except that every single picture in both categories is medical. So if we did make C:MU a subcategory of C:U, the C:U page would contain nothing except for a link to C:MU. However, to counter myself, if any non-medical ultrasound images are ever uploaded, this will provide a good way to keep them separate. Perhaps we should do this? (And on the contrary, congratulations for knowing a second language so well! I only wish I did...) Dar-Ape 02:12, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
