Untitled[edit]

Tennessee dialect is not confined to Tennessee. It is more to the effect of southern Appalachain dialect which is a combined manner of speech inherited from early settlers and Native Americans. The Scots, Irish, German, British and other immigrant families who settled this region brought a unique way of speaking with them. Readers will note that east Texas has a section with a like manner of speaking. This came about from people from the southern Appalachain region who removed there.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.13.107.140 (talk • contribs) 14 August 2010‎ (UTC)
