Category scope?
[edit]I think the scope of this category is too close to the parent Category:Boats. This category seems to be currently based on Russian legal definition of small boat based on size and engine power. However, a very substantial part - if not most - of the files in Category:Boats would seem to fit the definition. Additionally it may be difficult to find out the size or engine power of the boats in various files. Currently this category includes very different kinds of boats, from small rowboats to tour boats, and in my opinion duplicates the parent category too closely.
I believe it would be better to categorize boats based on existing Category:Boats by country, Category:Boats by motive power, Category:Boats by function or Category:Boats by type than creating a new too ambiguous category. MKFI (talk) 08:30, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
