The addition of foreign languages to gallery and category pages will help non-English speakers enjoy the Commons more. There are several indicators for the highest priority foreign languages for this subject.
- Seattle Public Library has websites in: Spanish, Amharic, Russian, Somali, Vietnamese, and Mandarin Chinese
- Seattle Public Schools has published documents in: Spanish, Amharic, Khmer (Cambodian), Oromo, Tigrigna, Vietnamese, and Mandarin Chinese. It has also previously published documents in Lao.

Avoid removing partially-categorized images from here[edit]
There's an informal effort to work thru the backlog of images in this category, and fully apply all the relevant categories to them. There lots less attention being paid to some of the larger subcategories, like Category:Black_and_white_photographs_of_Seattle -- so it's recommended not to remove images from this category if they are not fully categorized, particularly if the only other category they are in is one with a lot of images or far down the category hierarchy.
