The intended contents of this category, and how it should relate to the previously existing and very similar Category:Streetcars in San Francisco, is not obvious.
My first take was that this was about those vehicles designated as the historic fleet, and not used in normal service. But that would exclude (most) cable cars, and the PCC and Peter Witt streetcars (which are historic with a small h, but in service use).
Could the originater give the category a lede para, to indicate their intentions. -- Chris j wood (talk) 12:58, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
