Suggest a new name

Hi. I can see, that these blocks along Skanderborgvej is not part of Kongsvang, but belongs to Midtbyen (Frederiksbjerg to be precise). Kongsvang lies south of Marselis Boulevard, in the district of Viby J. Look here: Kongsvang.

Unfortunately I can also see that Midtbyen includes parts of Kongsvang according to google maps. Look here: Midtbyen. Can google maps be trusted as a source on these matters? I know I am arguing against myself here, but I have been looking like a mad man for credible sources on the many districts, neighbourhoods and boroughs in Aarhus and how they are defined geographically and Google maps was the best I could find, even in Danish (of which I am fluent).

Anyway I think the new name for this Category should be "Reliefs at Skanderborgvej" and then we can later argue, if this category should be placed in "Category:Viby, Jylland" or "Category:Frederiksbjerg".

About sources, well, categorizing is a bit of original research we do some times. When you categorize an image as being a Category:Lolcats, you don’t really have to give a source for that. It is supposed to be trivial (while many times it is not). Google Maps (and Google Street View) are excellent research tools. I am convinced that these reliefs are from Skanderborgvej and not from Kongsvangs Allé. I live in the city and my grandmother lived in these apartment blocks for many years. I could be wrong, becasue the block runs along KA on the northeast as well and I am not too familiar with this part of the buildings. I can check in the near future to be 100 % certain. Trusting the filenames, these photos show above-door reliefs by Elias Ølsgaard in houses on Rudolph Wulffs Gade, Skanderborgvej, Sønderport, and Kongsvang Allé. There should be a category encompassing all these, for they are homogenous, so you’re right that this category should be renamed if not all these streets/houses lies within Kongsvang. I dont speak the language, and I never been closer to Århus than around 50 km, so feel free to suggest a better name than something like Category:Releifs in SW Århus. -- Tuválkin ✉ 08:54, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Oh, wait! All these images are accurately geotagged (I improved one, but still) and this sum-up map shows all these are located closely together in a triangle limited by Marselis Blvd., Kongsvang Allé, and Skanderborgvej, all on houses aligned along Rudolph Wulffs Gade. This housing project must have a distinctive name (and maybe its own category in Commons?), and that’s what should be used to rename this category (and fix "Releifs" to "Reliefs" while at it!). -- Tuválkin ✉ 09:27, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Hello. Good work there Tuválkin. I have tried to investigate about the name of this block, but I couldn't find any and people living there didn't knew anything about it ither. It is clear though that it was built as one block, by one architect and therefore should have a name somehow, but I haven't figured it out yet... RhinoMind (talk) 21:22, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
