Grammar in category name[edit]

The category name (and those that inherit from it) seems to me to be a grammatical mess. You don't coincide something, you coincide with it. Further, the place doesn't coincide with a state or national border, its border coincides with a state or national border. Unfortunately, the most grammatically correct replacement I can think of that uses that word coincide is clumsy: Populated places with a border that coincides with a state or national border. Can anyone suggest something equally correct, but more concise than that? - Jmabel ! talk 16:09, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Some places straddle a border, in which case where their own border lies has nothing to do with it. Arlo James Barnes 04:59, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Arlo James Barnes: then just "coinciding with", but grammatically "coinciding" requires "with". - Jmabel ! talk 14:46, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
