Why should this category be on the top of Category:Hoofddorp?[edit]

- Hi Jopke, That also happens in the other categories in this way. It seems to me that some consistency is desirable with other categories, because there people are also separated from the other categories!?

- I see less categories where such a category is on top than a regular sorting, also internationally. So there is no consistency and certainly there is no rule to do so, so consistency is not a good reason here, because there is no. And I cannot think of another reason to put them on top. Do you? - I don't see any reason to put it at the top either, that's why I didn't mention it! What I did mention is that I see that most categories list people separately from the other categories. - I agree with JopkeB, there's no reason to put people categories at the top. Antoine.01, if you don't see any reason to put them at the top, then don't do it, and certainly stop doing it! I see you're continuing (today 24 October) to blindly put those categories at the top, without regard for other contributors' categorisation work, so please stop now! People categories are no more important than others. Moreover, the top of municipality categories are sometimes (and consistently) used for categorising other things, for instance populated places for municipalities in Belgium like here: Category:Yvoir, so obviously mixing a people category in there with the "single space key" is wrong. — Bjung (talk) 20:19, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

- It is also not about people being at the top, but about them being separate from the other categories! But it seems like everyone is making their own rules when I look (here), which apparently isn't good either, I see (here) because it's being undone by someone!?
