Probably it is not useful to have one page in several subcategories here, hm? Maybe a info text on the front page:
- Do only add the category according to the last DR result (i.e. is the file currently deleted or not).

Privacy as a reason for deletion[edit]

- This is intesresting — and our thanks to Fæ, who went through the trouble of looking it up. But (one always want one more chocolate), could this be enriched by adding columns of data showing how many of these DRs resulted in deletion? - The delete/keep/undeleted can be counted easily enough, as I already had that sitting in my analysis (I'll look at this in a while
Done); however working out from a DR page what files are affected is probably impossible. The trouble being that other files might be linked or mentioned and stuff deleted might not even be images or links (i.e. "all images taken of <this artwork> uploaded by <this user>"). I've mentioned before elsewhere that we could do with more structure to our DRs and something like a standard summary of outcome, including numbers of related deletions (or even better some sort of parent/child relationship to each action in the log) would solve this sort of thing. --Fæ (talk) 14:26, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

There's a hole in the data somewhere, although I'm not sure where. As I'm sure you remember, I definitely have filed more than one nudity or sexuality related deletin request :p That said, it's a interesting set of data, thanks for compiling it. Kevin Gorman (talk) 19:48, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. There could easily be a hole somewhere, it would be good to point to an example. This was compiled by using the API to pull up the first revision of each DR to look for the creator. The outcome is simply based on the sub-category a DR is in. Obviously DRs in the parent category are not counted and maybe some failed to get sub-categorised when they closed? --Fæ (talk) 20:10, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

- Taking a further look at it shows that most of the nudity and sexuality related-deletion requests I started were just never categorised, and the only DR I started that was categorised is properly counted here. A belated observation after 7 (or more than 8) years: The champion of DRs at this chart, as admin, has deleted Category:Nudity and sexuality-related deletion requests/pending as "not useful". I am not sure if it is that unuseful and do not understand why this detour here as differently from, say, "FoP-related" DRs. (Maybe they did not want other people to see that they are the champs... :) I've got an impression from the above discussion that this cat could help with keeping the statistics.
