Keep at "Nagoya", there is no need to disambiguate since there is only one city with that name. Gryffindor (talk) 15:45, 5 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Move Nagoya City is the prefectural capital of Aichi Prefecture. However, it refers to the area that contains the part of Aichi, Gifu and Mie Prefecture as economic bloc there are times when it is referred to as a "Nagoya". Thus, categorization of "Nagoya = Nagoya City" is not appropriate.--KAMUI (talk) 10:02, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Then, place called "Nagoya" is also in Chiba Prefecture. In history, there is a period Aichi Prefecture west was Nagoya Prefecture. In addition, even in the current Saga Prefecture there is a place called "Nagoya", there was also "Nagoya Castle" :) --KAMUI (talk) 10:18, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See the main article name Nagoya and category, do not invent some format that does not exist. Gryffindor (talk) 09:50, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Category names : Nagoya + ", Aichi" or not[edit]

Thanks a lot for improving those category names, under Category:Nagoya.

I personaly understand reasons for both cases of English translations, but at least,

we should keep {{Category redirect}} on the others. Please do not just speedy delete.

We see in one category history of wards of Nagoya, for example, [1] it is moved in 2008-12:( + Aichi), 2014-12:( - Aichi), 2015-06:( + Aichi), 2015-06:( - Aichi), add, remove, add, remove, again and again, by different individuals.

To prevent future unwanted battles and barren loops , or to avoid future uploaders mistakenly re-create them again, we should keep them as {{Category redirect}} , even if it looks like "we" all "agreed" for now in either one case. --Tokorokoko (talk) 05:50, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
