Category:Media[edit]
"Media" means files, mass-media, places. Probably should be DAB here. Hint from big CFD in enwiki en:Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2020_April_18#Media_by_location Estopedist1 (talk) 10:55, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

- @Estopedist1, Crouch, Swale, and Themightyquill: I also agree in general to making this a dab. I might start the dab with:
- Category:Media (communication) - topical category for media (means) of communication (essentially most current contents can go here)
- Category:Mass media - topical category for media used to reach larger audiences
- Category:Creative works - topical category for individual creative works
- Category:Media types - non-topical category for explicitly sorting by media type
- This is based on a pretty surface-level look, so adjustment is probably in order, but maybe we can get started with this? Josh (talk) 21:12, 22 January 2023 (UTC)

- Category:Art materials aka en:Art media and Category:Art by medium should probably also find a place there. Also, how does Category:Categories by medium relate to this? El Grafo (talk) 08:14, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
