New borders!
[edit]There was a changing of the borders between Cova Lima and Ainaro, and Baucau and Viqueque after Independence. I draw already the new maps and will load them up during the next two days. --Patrick 20:38, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- I would very much appreciate if you would contact me when there is an error with my maps, rather than shunting them to the historic category. --Golbez 02:28, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't know there is an special Admin for East Timor here, is there? First, here are my sources. Yesterday was too late for posting them: Official document about subdistrict Mape-Zumalai moving from Ainaro to Cova Lima and a district map with the new borders. I will contact you on your account, too. --Patrick 12:16, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- By he way: Not a very good idea to seperate the maps again into a category "maps of East Timor" and "maps of Timor-Leste". And if you don't like, that I put your maps into another category, maybe you could ask before revert this, especially, because I wrote down the reason here. --Patrick 12:29, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- The thing is, the maps should either be revised or deleted, not moved to an "historic" directory - they aren't important enough to take up those filenames as historic maps. The only ones which should be preserved are the full-country ones. It's not that there's a special admin for East Timor, it's just that I made those maps. :) I'll edit my maps and move the proper ones to a historic category. Sorry if I snapped at you, but it was a shock to see them all moved. :) --Golbez 17:48, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, so only preserving the general map. Well, I didn't want to delete your work, that's why I wanted to load up my maps with another name. ;-) I draw them completly new, I only used your colours. I still made them all, so I can load them up right now, if you don't have a problem on the old names. --Patrick 20:41, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Why is the high resolution version (for example of Cova Lima) still the old version ??? --Patrick 21:14, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, just "refresh". ;-) --Patrick 21:51, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Yesterday, I made some maps of the districts with subdistrict borders (using this source: Ministry of Labour and Community Reinsertion. When I added them to the articles, I realized there must have been some more changes in 2003 than only Mape-Zumalai moving and changing of borders between Viqueque and Baucau. Have anybody more information about the reformation? Have anybody new maps of the districts, showing the cities in the districts? I will try to make some new maps, but it will be a lot of work. ;-) --Patrick 06:13, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- Today, I loaded up the first new maps with district boarders, subdistrict boarders and cities. I will put the old and since 2003 incorrect maps to historic maps, after uploading the new maps of each district. --Patrick 00:08, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
