Hi, my file with Gueglingen_Rathaus will be edited soon.

That's fine ! Thanks !

when is "soon"?[edit]

I don't know. It depends on the devs. Please ask on phabricator. :-) I hope it will be in the next weeks. --Steinsplitter (talk) 18:25, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Messages about the bot not working[edit]

I tried cleaning up the alert messages in this category, most strikingly the undated claim that "Rotatebot will be replaced soon" and the advice that in the absence of a bot "you don't have to do anything manually here" - surely we have to do everything manually here, if nothing is happening automatically? User:Denniss reverted this all back with no explanation. Have I misunderstood the situation? --McGeddon (talk) 09:19, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

See the message at Rotatebot's user page. --Denniss (talk) 19:48, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Denniss: Which message? That "In the meanwhile SteinsplitterBot takes over its tasks."? If a new bot is running consistently, shouldn't we mention that instead of a confusingly crossed-out "Rotatebot rotates these automatically"? --McGeddon (talk) 15:06, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
In the absence of any response, I've gone ahead and put up an explanatory message based on Rotatebot's user page, to replace the opaque "Rotatebot doesn't work, you don't have to do anything manually here". --McGeddon (talk) 09:54, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
