What is expected of a reviewer?[edit]

I understand that these pictures originally were on the Dutch Wikipedia, and have been moved to Commons. Some of them require categorisation, a fair number already seem to be in the correct category. But, as could be expected, the desciption is generally only in Dutch. I'm willing to try my hand at adding descriptions in English -which will take some time, as there are some 10.000 files to be reviewed- but before starting such a job, I'd like to hear whether this would be appreciated. Otherwise, I can limit myself to checking whether there is an appropriate category, and removing the notice to the opposite effect. Please let me know. Well. if nobody replies...;) In that case, I'll just do as I think is right: find one or more suitable categories, edit the description if I think it could be helpful, and remove the notice. If anybody objects: there's a thing called "revert".;) Best regards, MartinD 18:52, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You know, this is a bit of a tedious chore... I try to check a number of pix every day, but some bot keeps moving them to over here faster than I can check them... Can anybody tell me when this is going to stop? MartinD 18:10, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
