Move. There clearly is an English name for this place, see Hohensalzburg Castle and homepage [1]. Wikimedia rules stipulate to use English whenever possible for categories. Yeah, but while the difference between a castle and a palace is only slight (historically, a palace was situated inside a castle, a palace being the dwelling place of the castle's master and a castle being a whole complex containing houses and churches as well, see the Hradcin in Prague), the difference between a fortress (Festung) and a castle is notable. I agree that "castle" is not an appropriate expression here (except maybe for tourism managers). I also notice that there are a lot of pictures with English names that use the original name "Festung", cf. File:Festung_Hohensalzburg_at_dawn.jpg, File:Festung_Hohensalzburg_aerial_view_001.jpg. etc. -- Aisano (talk) 18:43, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

The doggy weblink given above isnt really worth a consideration (is it private?) - http://www.salzburg-burgen.at/en/ has an English translation and calls it "Fortress Hohensalzburg"! (if you dont want to use the original name?) --ZH2010 (talk) 22:50, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

There are about 50 categories that use festung. Better the original word than a dodgy/disputed translation. A festung is a fortress, not a castle. --Foroa (talk) 06:06, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
