This really shouldn't have every fantasy creatures in it; if there are dwarves that are clearly earth elementals, they should be separately in the category.--Prosfilaes (talk) 22:42, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Prosfilaes, I agree that fantasy creatures should not be considered elementals. My apologies if I got a few categories mixed up. But I think that some of these categories (mermaids in particular) were "true" creatures in various ancient religions. I'm not going to fiddle with these articles for a few days at least, because I'm still learning how Wikimedia works (I'm not a fan of these category insta-edits, for example). Mermaids are from mythology, but I don't see why that makes them elementals. They're flesh and blood, of the same order of creation as humans.--Prosfilaes (talk) 04:47, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
