Oddly, now that we have a few additional subcategories such as:

For 1: Category:Remote views of the Eiffel Tower is probably one that is most worthwhile. There are just a few unique points of view left at http://toolserver.org/~para/GeoCommons/geocodingtodo.php?category=Remote+views+of+the+Eiffel+Tower --  Docu  at 00:31, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Transfers into this category[edit]

Hi, I am sorry to have transfered into the present category Category:Eiffel Tower many photos of Eiffel tower very similar to other ones already existing. But there are many (1000? 2000?) uploadings from Twitter to Category:Paris. And I try to limit the number of photos in this category Category:Paris (there are now 480). So I recategorized some of them. And it is very rare to obtain a deletion when there are 2 similar photos. --Tangopaso (talk) 19:37, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata infobox[edit]

I removed the wikidata infobox, because it is totaly spoiled. For example, it says that the tower was built for King Jung un, the North Korean leader. --Tangopaso (talk) 20:53, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Tour Eiffel, New Orleans[edit]

Category:Tour Eiffel, New Orleans is a structure built from a restaurant formerly in the Eiffel Tower, removed during 1981 renovations and reassembled in New Orleans. 1986 NYT article; NOLA.com article 2021. I'm unsure of the best way to categorize the connection. For the moment I have it at "Elements of the Eiffel Tower", although I suppose other categories would be accurate as well, including "Restaurants of the Eiffel Tower".
