Bare or clothed[edit]
@Joshbaumgartner should these be considered bare or Category:Clothed women's backs? RZuo (talk) 09:56, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
- @RZuo: That's a fine question, and two good examples. I think they are both, but that's based on the objective idea that any clothing constitutes being clothed to some degree, and likewise any bare skin constitutes being bare to some degree. Sub-categories based on what degree can be created if that distinction is deemed important. Some however, may see bare as 'completely' bare and the same with clothed, but this is problematic for an image such as example 2, where the back is completely bare but for a tie string that doesn't exactly cover much. In the end they are both partially bare/clothed, so should be either in both categories, or in a single 'partially x' category which is in turn under both 'bare' and 'clothed' categories.
