Necessary?

Hello, it seems that every category already has a discussion page, so why in the world do we need a "categories for discussion" category in the first place? Let's just retire it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by G41rn8 (talk • contribs) 16 June 2020 (UTC)

@G41rn8: it may be hard to understand, but this concrete talk page is for questions/comments related to "Category:Categories for discussion", eg if the header text would be misleading; or eg the name of this category itself would be bad--Estopedist1 (talk) 05:25, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

CfD by month are not hidden

Hi, why all the Categories for discussion by month (like CfD 2014-07‎ or CfD 2022-11) are not hidden like Category:Categories for discussion? Regards --W like wiki ^{good to know} 18:35, 9 November 2022 (UTC)

I propose to add {{Global maintenance category}} to all the Categories for discussion by month, which includes hiding them. Anyone with other ideas? --W like wiki ^{good to know} 19:12, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
