How many statues?[edit]

Jung statue,
Armadillo Tea Rooms,
circa 1980's

Sidorczuk piece circa 1987
Drabkin bust circa 1993

The image in this file is of the current Carl Jung statue outside Flanagan's Apple in Mathew Street.
Terry Cavanagh's book says the present bust, by Jonathan Drabkin, was installed in 1993, to be a more robust (ie. less vandalizable) version of the original (by Laurence Sidorczuk) from 1987. (Source : Terry Cavanagh Public Sculpture in Liverpool p110 (1997) ISBN 0-85323-711-5)
However this image, on Flickr, shows a statue from (presumably) the 70's or 80's outside what was then the Armadillo Tea Rooms. Does anyone know who did this statue, and what happened to it? And, have been any others in that niche over the years? Any information would be welcome, Swanny18 (talk) 19:41, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I took two of these photos, so there are/were aparently three over the years. I know nothing of the provenance of the other one, sorry. Rodhullandemu (talk) 19:47, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh! well, thanks for replying (so quickly!) I'll keep digging...Swanny18 (talk) 19:55, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
