To me this category seems to contain a mixture of things. I think that proposed content should be somewhat more understandable. Snowmanradio (talk) 19:56, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
It would probably be simpler to have a category for "Birds endemic to South America", as a subcategory of "Birds of South America". Some birds would be in both categories, and that would make it easier to search for an endemic species when looking in the "Birds of South America" category.
