How do I remove Category:Naupactus from this category? It is using wikidata. --Jarekt (talk) 03:31, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Jarekt:
Wikicommons slowly recomputes the pages from time to time.
So just fight for the categories you see in Category:Naupactus after a purge. The content of Category:Biology pages without wikidata link will be updated in a week ;-(
Sorry Liné1 (talk) 16:10, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Edit to the page should have triggered the purge. I think there is something else going on here and whatever code adds this category adds it incorrectly in this case. But I might be wrong. --Jarekt (talk) 16:35, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If |useWIkidata= is applied[edit]

@Liné1: Is there a way to hide this category in the event |useWIkidata= is applied? If the following is true:

  • There is a gallery item attached to the WIkidata item
  • There is no category item on WIkidata
  • The species categoryon Commons has |useWikidata=

There is no more "maintenance possible", and I believe this categry should be hidden/remved since nothing can be done. --Jonatan Svensson Glad (talk) 01:00, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Example: Category:Sagittaria sagittifolia. --Jonatan Svensson Glad (talk) 01:24, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Josve05a:
