It does cause a loop: At the moment Benelux is a subcat of Low Countries, which is a subcat of History of the Netherlands, which is a subcat of Netherlands, which is a subcat of Benelux. And I don't think this is encouraged on Commons. So maybe the question is how to deal with the term Low Countries. Should is be treated as a historic region or as geographic region? If it is treated as a geographic region it could be removed from History of the Netherlands, breaking the loop. Vincent Steenberg (talk) 14:47, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
