Category:Ancient Rome, Category:Ancient Roman categories, Category:Ancient Roman culture - Commons:Categories#Over-categorization? Cathy Richards (talk) 19:19, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Remember that root categories, such as Category:Ancient Rome serve as navigation categories where we have mostly some sort of arguable overcats. In most countries, one could argue that for reaching sculpture cats, one has to go over society, culture, art to reach the sculptures, which makes no sense. As the majority of Ancient Roman cats pertain to art, cities, structures and sites, those cats should be quick to navigate to. In contemporary countries, buildings, cities and art should be quickly accessible as those contain the majority of the images and newbies should find quickly their way. --Foroa (talk) 06:37, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
