The Zachouri mosque lies between the Kebir Mosque and the Church of St. Lazaros. It was built in the middle of the 19th century and is an important muslim religious centre. It was later transferred to the Larnaca water administration (Evkaf dairesi - Bekir paşa su İdaresi Larnaka). Today it is abandoned and partly used by a youth hostel.
