English: Woolley Colliery is a village straddling the border of the Barnsley and Wakefield districts in Yorkshire, England. The oldest part of the village is in South Yorkshire, its former colliery and the housing development on its site are situated just inside West Yorkshire. However, both the old pit village and the new housing estate have got a Sheffield postcode, and the post town is Barnsley.
