English: Wine bottle coolers (french rafraïchisseurs de bouteilles) are traditionnal urn or basinlike shaped recepients for holding cold water to chill one or more bottles of wine. The basinlike form, intended to stand on the floor, is sometimes accompanied by a wine fountain. Smaller urn or bucketlike shaped porcelain versions, intended to stand on the sideboard, mostly along with wine glass coolers are indispensable service accessories of the service à la française. They are distinct from ice buckets[1] filled with ice cubes.
