English: White tails are aircraft, usually commercial, with overall white paint and no operator or other markings except, in some cases, minimum legal registration markings. They are typically aircraft which are awaiting sale or re-sale, and thus carry no markings yet. Some operators may use aircraft in all-white paint to avoid identification or for short periods which do not warrant the expense of applying a livery.
