Deutsch: Der Kieler Textilkaufmann Franz Weipert übernahm 1935 im Zuge der „Arisierung“ jüdischen Eigentums „Texta“-Textilkaufhaus in der Holstenstraße 34 und benannte es auf seinen Namen um (später das Unternehmen Weipert & Co. KG).

Im Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde das Gebäude weitgehend zerstört, konnte aber teilweise wieder nutzbar gemacht werden. 1949 wurde das Texta-Grundstück von der britischen Besatzungsmacht beschlagnahm und Weipert ließ auf der gegenüber ein neues, von Otto Schnittger entworfenes, Geschäftshaus, bauen (Holstenstraße 19-21, später Anbauten am Wall 2-6).

Weitere Standorte in Kiel waren Weipert Orient-Haus, Weipert Bettenhaus und Weipert Wäsche- und Mieder-Salon sowie Weipert-Häuser in Braunschweig, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt und München.
English: In 1935, as part of the „Aryanization“ of Jewish property, the Kiel textile merchant Franz Weipert took over the „Texta” textile department store at Holstenstrasse 34 and renamed it in his name (later the company Weipert & Co. KG).

The building was largely destroyed during the Second World War, but was partially made usable again. In 1949, the Texta property was confiscated by the British occupying forces and Weipert had a new commercial building designed by Otto Schnittger built on the opposite side (Holstenstrasse 19-21, later extensions on Wall 2-6).

Other locations in Kiel were Weipert Orient-Haus, Weipert Bettenhaus and Weipert Wäsche- und Mieder-Salon as well as Weipert houses in Braunschweig, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich.
