Sodaratirtha, officially known as the Group of Ancient Temples at Naranag, is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage site about 50 kilometers northeast from Srinagar, and about 5 kilometers from Wangat village. The site consists of two major temples complexes and several isolated temples along the Kanaka river. All temples are in ruins here. The two temple complexes are called the Upper group and the Lower group. They contain a mix of Shiva, Vishnu and Shakti shrines, with the largest (main) dedicated to Shiva.
