Arms borne by w:Thomas Wallace, 1st Baron Wallace (1768-1844) "of Knaresdale in the County of Northumberland" who resided at Featherstone Castle, Northumberland, near Asholme (in the parish of Lambley, Northumberland), the seat of his ancestor Thomas Wallace who purchased Asholme in 1637.
