The volumes in this series each contain an illustrated section about the county, followed by a long list of short biographies (each with a photographic portrait) of men of the county who were alive at the time of publication (plus a few who had recently died). Each volume has an index to the illustrations of buildings and views of the county, and an index to the biographies.

Note: all photographs in this category, which were uploaded by Storye Book, were taken with a handheld camera. This century-old volume will not tolerate compression of its spine in the scanner.
