English: Media related to Utah State Route 23 )1927-1947) (SR-23), a former 59.9075-mile (96.4118 km) state highway in Garfield County, Utah, United States, that connected Utah State Route 22 (at its pre-1969 routing) in Widtsoe with the northern city limit/Dixie National Forest boundary in Boulder. From 1927 to 1941 the eastern end of SR-23 at Escalante, but it 1941 it was extended to Boulder. In 1947 the segment from Widtsoe to west of Escalante was decommissioned and the remainder (from Escalante to Boulder) was added to Utah State Route 54 (but what is now Utah State Route 12).
