English: Unusual black patches that are generally not seen in a coat colour or pattern. These could be the result of somatic mutations, birthmarks or chimerism. The black patches are often similar to roan in colour (mixed with white hairs in the black patch). This category is not meant for normal black tortoiseshell (and white) coats.
