This series consists of photographs. The photographs depict facilities, events, and activities at the Cornhusker Ordnance Plant near Grand Island, Nebraska. Subjects of the photographs include building and construction progress, equipment, individual buildings, and men and women ordnance employees. The records include a scrapbook titled "First Anniversary of Production Open House Celebration," dated November 14, 1943, which includes a narrative report, programs, commemorative ribbons and tags, maps of the facilities and grounds, a script used by tour guides, and photographs of plant officials, visitors, and department exhibitions.
