English: Cream mackerel tabby cats that have close to 25% of white areas (75% cream). Ideal pattern for show cats includes white blaze, feet, throat, chest, and belly, with symmetric distribution and white areas of modest size and limited to the desirable areas.
Half-half of white and cream area (50% cream) indicates the true bicolor pattern, while clear dominance of white area (75% cream) indicates the harlequin pattern.
Attention: Cream tabby and white cats have cream or buff markings (pale/faint yellow-orange with a pinkish teint) on a off-white to pale honey-coloured background mixed with solid white areas. Cream tabby is the diluted (lighter/faded/faint) version of red/orange/ginger tabby colour in cats. Some white around the nozzle is accepted, for cream tabbies without white (use: Cream tabby). Cream tabby cats do not have any orange-red tabby markings, the darkest colour in the fur is cream / buff (pale/faint yellow-orange with a pinkish teint). See: Tabby cat color overview.
