English: Trooping the Colour is the commonly accepted name for the military parade properly known as "The Queen's/King's Birthday Parade". It is a military ceremony performed by regiments of the Commonwealth and the British Army. It has been a tradition of British infantry regiments for centuries and it was first performed during the reign of Charles II. It is held annually on Saturday in June at Horse Guards Parade in London.
