English: A Tiny Forest is a 200-sq-m plot (about the size of a tennis court) with about 600 densely planted native trees, which may help store carbon, reduce dust, improve air quality, reduce noise pollution, soak up water to reduce flooding, and attract wildlife. The concept was elaborated by the Indian engineer Shubhendu Sharma, and inspired by the Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki.
