The site of Theatre Royal, Lyceum at 349 The Strand, is now the Lyceum Tavern, 354 Strand, it was opposite Wellington Street (now the entrance to Waterloo Bridge, and today called Lancaster Place; and the now Savoy Street).

The Tavern site was the “Theatre Royal, Lyceum” between 1809-1830.

The Drury Lane Company. having lost it's own theatre to fire, made the “Theatre Royal, Lyceum” on the Strand its home from April the 11th 1809, until June 1812. The building carried on trading as the “Theatre Royal, Lyceum” till 1830.
