The Temples at Holy the Book were built, for the most part, under Louis-Philippe. They have the particularity of presenting an open Bible, sometimes stylized, sculpted on the façade, as a symbol of the freedom of worship proper to the constitutional monarchy, foreshadowing in this the laic republic.
