Tanjung Layar Lighthouse, also known by Ujung Kulon, First Point or Eerste Punt. Sunda Strait, Banten Province, Java. This lighthouse, the fourth at the station, is at the extreme southwest tip of Java, marking the east side of the entrance to the Sunda Strait from the Indian Ocean. The first lighthouse, was a tall cast iron tower. The second was a a brick tower. The third was aa skeletal tower.
