Category:Taken with ... templates

This category is used for categorizing "Taken with ..." templates. It should not contain media files or pages outside the template namespace!

The design had been:

• one template for each photographic device, each one with its documentation page, and each one with its own set of many nationalization templates.

This multiplies to a great lot of templates, which are almost the same and differ in only in very few points.

The better design is:

• either one template for each photographic device with its built-in parameters,

these templates use all the same documentation page, and the same and only one set of nationalization templates.

• or a universal template which gets all needed parameter, e.g. photographic device, category and more

This design had been established successfully for the Created with ... templates in 2018, and for the Taken with ... templates in 2019.

None of these use the Translate extension (page translation administration), the previous as well as the current design consist of hand-written translations.
